Festival 2012 Local Foods Dinner

Thanks for joining us for a wonderful dinner created using foods sourced from local farmers!

This delicious dinner (menu below) will be created by Local Pantry, a collaboration between Chanteclaire Farm, Firefly Farms, and Garrett Growers

Special Guest Speaker: Jonathan Slade, Producer of “Historic Barns of Maryland”, a Documentary that aired on Maryland Public Television.

Special Showcase: Quilts by Maxine LeGeer, a Bittinger area quilter honored with the Amish Dahlia Barn Quilt on the Stanton barn (Stop #12).

(we worked with farmers within a 50 mile radius to source as many of the ingredients as we can!)

Grassfed Beef Sliders (with local cheeses & veggies, on locally-made honey wheat salted rolls using local fresh-ground wheat flour)

Roasted Corn Salad (with purple cabbage, candy onions, cherry tomatoes and a parsley & basil vinaigrette)

Brownies topped with Cream & Raspberry
