Frank France owns this beautiful red barn, built in 1951. At that time, it was the George Browning Farm (Mary Browning’s husband – the namesake of Mary Browning Senior Center!) This property was also called the “DeWitt Farm” at one time.
The site is said to have been home to a Native American camp near the Youghiogheny River, and this original block design was created to commemorate this heritage.
