Thanks to the Community Trust Foundation, Maryland Heritage Areas Authority, Mountain Maryland Gateway to the West Heritage Area, and private donations (along with our amazing volunteers), we’re tackling some of our earlier barn quilts that need a bit of a face lift!

Many of our barn quilts have faded or chipped due to weathering (and sometimes birds?) We have received a grant to assess the quality of all our barn quilts and then remove and refurbish the ones that need it. Our grant funding will only cover 10 of our barn quilt refurbishments, so we need your help!

We’ve set up a donation portal to help us refurbish more barn quilts!

And if you can help in other ways (helping to take down and remount the quilts, painting, etc. we’d love to hear from you! Contact garrettbqa@gmail.com or call 301-453-5128.
