Kate and the late Gary Fratz are the proud owners of Garrett County’s first barn quilt! Thanks to their son, Brent, and Gary, the quilt went up Tuesday, November 24, 2008!

The design is a LeMoyne Star, done in the Maryland state flag colors of black, red, yellow and white.The block was sponsored by Wilma Edwards.

Location:
Along Rt. 219 between McHenry and Accident.  The quilt is seen if traveling south on Rt. 219, on the right side of the road.
